Library helper

Hi all. I am getting better everyday and have had help from family and friends. Sky helped me in the library all this last week and we rearranged the junior and easy section of the library. Steve built us a new shelf and everything looks great. Sky has been learning how to be a volunteer in the library and has been helping me a lot this week.

We went to "praise in the park" in Alpine yesterday and Sky and the group from church played some nice music. All of us enjoyed a hamburger cook-out and fellowshipping with each other. Other churches from Alpine joined in on our fun and all had a great time. Took pictures but need to get them developed. Sky is getting very good on the guitar. He has been playing for 6 years now.

Back on my feet

Just a quick update to say I am back at work and doing a little better. I am still using a cane but starting to improve. Have friends helping me at work to reshelf things in the library. I was off a few weeks but back in the library our regular hours.

Maybe soon I will be able to get out and take more pictures of the area we live in. I really enjoy photography and look forward to doing some more.

Ace the Rabbit

Ace our pet rabbit. She has grown very much in three years. Our house pet. Friendly, wanting to be petted all the time, no barking at all just little scraping noises when she decides to chew something apart. She loves cardboard boxes.

Returning to good health

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I have been in the hospital and off work for a short time. All is starting to get better and back on track. I plan on taking some new pictures soon that we can post to the site. I recently purchased a new camera and hope to enjoy taking pictuers again. I really love photography and have missed doing it.


David is well and always busy helping me. Ace our pet rabbit is starting to look old. We will take pictures of her soon to and add them to the site.

Sky is doing well and trying to keep up with his school work. Home school is year round for him.

Cinda has been keeping up with her site and the pictures and stories are wonderful. We look forward to her posting all the time.

The picture is of Pirate "D" and mate Callie who helped us with our summer reading program at the library. They were happily married on July 21, 2007 in Marfa. Unfortunately that is where I had a back problem and missed the beautiful wedding. They are a wonderful youg couple planning on being school teachers.

Things have been busy at the library so I have not posted in a while. We have a wonderful pirate reading program that ended on July 11, 2007. Our pirates are all great readers.

I hope to start doing photography again soon and to able to post some pictures. Sky is agood topic at the ranch and the ranch is beautilful . We are so grateful to Cinda and Teryn foa ll their support and help for Sky. He loves being on the ranch.

We met Sky, Cinda and Teryn at Brad and Karen's house last Saturday night and had a very good time. The potluck was fun and sharing fellowship with everyone was great.
